If you have spent any time browsing the other pages on my website
you have probably noticed the fact that I emphasize the importance
of utilizing an HONEST, RELIABLE and REPUTABLE lender. Believe
it or not I have had a plethora of lenders that have contacted
me ever since the first day I started in the real estate industry.
Obviously their goal has been to become the number one person
that I would refer in the event that I need a lender. As an
independent contractor of Tarbell Realtors, I do have a team
of lenders that are available through Mission Hills Mortgage
Bankers. This is a company that is also owned by Tarbell and
for obvious reasons I am strongly encouraged to refer them business
leads whenever possible. As an advocate to my clientele, I have
a higher obligation to refer the lender that is most appropriate
to fit your needs. Please do not misunderstand me Mission Hills
has a great staff and have been great to work with. However,
there are times that either a buyer has already come to me with
their own lender or times when we have had to use other lenders
that better suited my client’s needs. The bottom line is that
I have a very small list of people for your reference that I
believe to be good quality lenders. If you call me and ask for
the name of a good lender, I will more than likely give you
two or three names of people you can trust. The use of a good
quality lender can make the difference between a solid transaction
and a potential nightmare. A good quality lender will help you
to become pre-approved for your home so that there will be fewer
opportunities for problems to arise during the escrow period.
In addition you will be stronger as a buyer when you have already
been pre-approved. Lastly, an important thing to remember is
that ultimately it is YOUR CHOICE who you use for your lending
needs. I can only provide the numbers of people who I believe
to be honest and fair based on previous experience. I am strictly
prohibited from choosing your lender for you.
